Carl Bagnini is a founding and senior faculty at the International Psychotherapy Institute in Washington, DC and Long Island, NY. He teaches in video-conferencing continuing education programs, in couple therapy and the Master’s Series; and in the Certificate child psychoanalytic and child psychotherapy programs. Carl is on the faculties of the Adelphi University Derner Institute (psychoanalysis, supervision and couple therapy), St. John’s University Post-Doctoral Psychology Program in Integrative Couple and Family Therapy, The Training Institute for Mental Health, and The New York Institute for Psychotherapy Training. Carl has been an invited presenter and discussant at national and international conferences and has written and co-authored many book chapters and papers on British and American object relations topics. His book: Keeping Couples in Treatment: Working from Surface to Depth was published by Jason Aronson (2012) and the paper-back edition in 2013. Carl’s private practice is in Port Washington, NY where he offers individual and paired supervision in person and by teleconference, and treats individuals, couples and families.
