Vivid material and practice theory will be presented that identify narcissistic features and their clinical challenge to the therapist. Holding and containment with narcissistically wounded individuals and couples will be demonstrated, and use of the therapist’s self examined through transference and countertransference analysis. We will explore therapist’s persistent narcissistic motives (benign to malignant) for understanding unconscious process in the dyad and triad.
